TV Anime 'Shingeki no Kyojin' Gets 3rd Season

Upon the broadcast of Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2's final episode, it was announced that the Shingeki no Kyojin TV anime series will get a third season in 2018. Shingeki no Kyojin is a manga by Hajime Isayama and began its serialization via Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in September 2009. The series currently has 22 volumes in print, with the 23rd volume scheduled to be released on August 9. The manga inspired several guidebooks and spin-offs, as well as light novels, game books, games, live-action movies, drama, and plays. The first anime season aired in Spring 2013 for 25 episodes and received a two-part recap movie which premiered in November 2014 and June 2015.
