With the launch of the PlayStation 4 in 2013, a new logo was launched more in line with the other PlayStation platforms. The purple globe was replaced with the PlayStation family logo, however it continued to be used separately as an icon until 2015. In May 2015, PSN was renamed back to PlayStation Network. This logo also had the PlayStation logo in a blue sphere. In 2017, the PSN emblem became 2D and was shifted to the left.
