The PSP often gets treated like a lesser console, with lower fidelity ports of games being the norm for the platform. But this isn't the case with Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. No, instead of simply porting the Wii version and shoehorning the game onto a system without the proper buttons to make it work right, Ubisoft is creating a new adventure solely for Sony's handheld. That may disappoint some of you who enjoyed the previous PoP games for PSP, but after some recent playtime with the new Prince, I'm convinced that a 3D scroller is exactly where the franchise should be heading for the portable systems.
