Mortal Kombat 2' Officially In The Works, Original Film Stars

New Line is officially developing a sequel to last year’s  Mortal Kombat , which premiered in theaters and HBO Max, becoming one of the most-watched movies released on the streamer. The next film is in early development, and many of the original’s stars are expected to return for the sequel.
