Is noon 12:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m.?

My English - I'm getting confused sometimes with 12AM and 12PM. This picture can help us to understand it better. 12AM is 24:00 (00:00). 12PM is 12:00. Some more examples: 12:01 AM
