Our Varsity Knights opened up their 2020 campaign at Lassiter. This was the first meeting between our Knights and the Trojans and the Knights wasted no time showing their ability. Junior Amehre Morrison took the first offensive play for a 76 yard rushing touchdown. From then on it was our Knights showing what they can do. Junior QB Carson Lathem finished the night 9-15 with a 176 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. Sophomore WR Jackson Head lead the Knights in receiving with 3 receptions for 87 yards and a TD. Junior Andrew Bingham had 2 receptions for 52 yards and a TD while also adding 39 yards on the ground to the rushing game. Senior Riley Caines converted some 1st downs for the Knights with 3 receptions for 31 yards. On the ground Amehre Morrison finished the night with 14 rushing attempts for 225 yards and 4 TDs. Junior Tyler Carter also contributed to the Knights 5 rushing TDs by adding 1 for himself and tallying 55 yards on 8 attempts. The Knights open up their home campaign next week (9/11/20) against Woodstock.
