A simulated version of HERO is an enemy exclusive to the console versions of OMORI. He is fought alongside AUBREY and KEL as the penultimate opponents of the special BOSS RUSH event that can be done with BASIL on ONE DAY LEFT of the OMORI ROUTE. If the BOSS RUSH simulation was attempted at least once, the player has the option to interact with BASIL to initiate a special version of the event.
