Sonic 1 Game gear remake question - The Independent Video Game Community

Just downloaded via tinfoil the Sonic 1 game gear remake. The creators did a great job with it but I’m confused how to create a save state. Anyone know the command for this? Here’s two screens caps Incase anyone needs clarification on what version I’m talking about. Thanks.
